So after cleaning and rechecking all my frame transistors, I power the monitor up and get neck glow and two lights on the LV6100 once again!

Now, after having it powered on for a few seconds, I begin to smell a musty smell emitting from the monitor. I then find out that R107 is putting off some EXTREME heat. I assume its not supposed to.

Now here is my question...Is R107 my problem, or is it something else in the line that is causing it to heat up?

And another question, I have the majority of my Bob Roberts Deluxe kit left over, including all these white doodads. R107 reads 7.5ohm, but none of the parts in the BR kit have 7.5ohms on them. A couple of them have no ohm readings at all. Is R107 included in the BR deluxe kit?

That resistor is in line with the CRT heater. It does run pretty hot so if its not smoking or turning red its probably OK.

Do you get a picture?
