WG K4900 yoke / chassis mis-match

Had a friend bring in thier K4900 from a cab they bought... So the monitor cant be verified as ever working properly.

Its an older model -023 chassis and yoke appears to be a later model.

Installed a cap kit and noticed a couple values were different from my later model K4900, in my Track n Field cab.

Anyways, i have horrible fold over which cant be corrected.

I red the service bulliten from WG. Has anyone come up with a fix, to get mis matched chassis / yoke to work together ?

Nope. You either need a different yoke or a different chassis...

Ok then, i guess this chassis is usless and will be shelved. Ill have to give him another rebuilt chassis.

You could put on a Wei-ya or Jen Shinn chassis on it instead.

Thanks Ken, never tried one of those universal chassis before...

I have a K4900 chassis that was dead, which i fixed, while trouble shooting his. Its a later model and works fine with his yoke.

Im just bumed that i have to trade him a perfectly working one for his 'paper weight'
