wg k4900 missing red

Do you know for sure the tube is good? Check the voltage for where the red comes into the neckboard. Should be about 6 volts. If it's there, then check the drive transistor...

I don't know how to test for that It may be bad cause the tube plays a whole lot of blue I unhooked all of the colors but red I see it but very little do tube's go bad where it just plays blue how do I test the 6 volt thing

Can we try that again with punctuation? Too busy to interpret that right now...

With the monitor on check with your MM (set to DC) the solder spots marked KR, KB, KG, for the socket on the neck board. Or they are marked RK, BK, and GK, don't remember on the 4900's.

First off, make sure your meter is set for 200vdc if you test those points.

And that doesn't always work. I've worked on several monitors with missing colors that had voltage there....

Tested all the color wire's in the neck board for 6v got like 9v could the tube be bad
also tested

where is the drive transistor

Have you tried adjusting the Red Drive and Red Bias pots on the neckboard?

You probably need to find someone local with a rejuvenator to check your tube...

It was the tube I got my colos back. Now there is to much white and all the pots are turned all the way down if I move this it gets worst
