Hello, I recently did a cap kit on my K4600 monitor and having some issues. I'm new to arcades as I'm usually in the vintage computer hobby and have done many caps kits and little repairs with those. But I finished the cap kit which I also replaced the b+ filter cap and replaced C621 Axial cap. I double checked my work making sure everything was correct and re flowed some spots like for the power board, and the two other cards. I hooked everything back together in my Zaxxon cabinet which was working before and with the new cap kit the game started right up and I played a game. I then left it running and stepped outside for a bit on which I heard a pop from the house and I came back to the monitor screen looking like the attached files.
I checked everything over and never smelt anything burnt and took the monitor and checked it over and nothing looked like it popped or was damaged. I'm not sure if the loud sound I heard was my cats or the speaker maybe popping because nothing looks to have been exploded at least I don't see any signs of it. I'm not sure if this was their before but I do hear a buzzing sound that sounds like its coming from the fly back area.
I did some research about other monitors that looked like this and some were saying its the horizontal problem but I tried to adjust and but no luck as the garbage on the screen just moves around. With note when I move the horizontal hold, the buzzing sound does change from the fly back area, gets louder or quieter.
I'm lost and could use some help and making tracking down this issue. The game still plays as I can heard and fire so something is wrong with the monitor.
