Any help is appreciated. Monitor worked great and had a nice picture, but the vert. width pot was a bit sensitive. I took out the Vert./Horiz. card out of the chassis to fix some cold solders and everything went smooth. Once inserted back into the slot, I powered the machine and the freaking monitor is now dead (machines plays blind). There is no glow to the neck. There is voltage going into the monitor as I've tested the connector.

My question is, does the vert./horiz. affect power to the chassis? Wouldn't the chassis power up even if the board was missing?

I don't know what went wrong here.

Please help.!!

if you have no deflection you'll have no picture.

Pull the chassis and reflow the solder to the pins that the card plug into. And make sure cap there between the two plugs for that card didn't pull loose...

'modessitt' YOU are the man...... I didn't pull the main chassis board, but I did take out the vert./horiz. board once again and reflowed the whole thing.....powered the monitor back up and WORKED like a charm.

Thanks a million...Learned something new.
