Since there's a new push here to make our gameroom "spotless", fixing every cosmetic defect we can, I figured I'd ask about this.

For as long as I can remember, our fourth Drift's monitor (all four have D9410s) has been wobbly at the left and right edges. Any straight lines near either edge look like a sharp zig-zag. Color is good, and it's very sharp in the middle, just this minor issue at the edges. Any idea what this might be, and how easy it is to fix?

I could try taking a video, but I don't think it'd show up on camera. It's very rapid, and just looks blurry on still cameras.

Have you swapped the chassis to rule it out ?

You might want to pull the yoke and check the tube. Many
D9400 tubes are coated with a black, rubbery substance that
eventually breaks down and rots out the yoke coils. The
company that manufactured them was in Mexico and no
longer exists. If you own D9400's you owe it to yourself
to pull the yoke and check the tube, because once that yoke
goes you can't get it replaced.
