Hello. I just started to try and fix a big buck hunter game that I picked up. Its got a WG D9200 in it. The issues that I am seeing are as follows:

1. The screen has a small amount of horizontal roll going on.
2. I can't seem to adjust the screen to be square. The bottoms curve in like an hour glass...
3. When I grab the remote board to adjust the monitor the whole monitor flickers badly until i stop moving.
4. Its blurry. I can barely read text.
5. The brightness seems to be not bright enough as the new gun I got doesn't register unless its right in the middle of the screen. I have it turned all the way up...

Is there a few things I should check first or just shotgun a cap kit?...

Thanks for you help.

those chassis had some of the crappiest caps on them from the factory so i would do a good quality cap kit. i have the best quality caps in my kits so you only do it once and after about 70 some caps you will be thankful to not have to do that again...

If you are going to do caps, do them first. Here's a video. https://youtu.be/Gmrrf5hiYQI I have a 7400 in a buck hunter. Had a similar problem with the gun. Would only work when it was so bright it was washed out. Rebuilt it, rejuved it, got a little better but it takes a lot of time. I recommend rebuilding the neck board also and really checking the transistors. I had a mo resistor go out once and caused me headaches.
