I just picked up a game with the WG 9204 in it. Looking at the back it does not have the w105 connector hooked up and is missing the coil that goes around the tube ( Not sure what to call it and the manual is not help).

  1. What is the w105 connecting to and if I don't have it hooked up what issues will I have?
  2. If this is going to cause a problem where can I get one since it is missing?
Thank you!!

I figured this would be an easy one or I did a really crap job of explaining. The item I am looking to understand is a ring that goes on the monitor and is attached about 3 inches outside the deflection coil. It has a white and red wire and hooks to the w105 connection.

Thanks again.

Never seen this monitor in my life but a coil that goes around the yoke outer rim sounds like a raster rotation coil to me. "Mini degaussing" made me chuckle.

M.K.L. is right.

Here is what that would look like if you would want one for very slight rotation of the image via potentiometer right below the w105 receptacle.
If orientation correction you could always very carefully loosen the clamp on your yoke assuming its not bonded (some are) and manually physically rotate it leaving the convergence rings alone.

there is also a plug receptacle M-DEGAUSS (W804) just to the left of rotate pot. I used to think without having not looked at the circuit that was meaning middle degaussing coil to manually activate if needed (the smaller one) ; it is indeed not. This was an option / plug port that I have never seen implemented on the D9200 that is setup to trigger a manually degaussing while powered on. Never seen wells have that M-DEGAUSS (W804) receptacle populated before. Yet at least! Has anyone?
