just picked up a Golden Tee Fore Complete 2005.
Without the monitor, no sound, but boards light up.
Now..... when monitor is plugged in, the circuit breaker in the house blows.
Any thoughts?
WG 27D9202 Tube and WGD9200 chassis. Any feedback helps.

27D9202 is the chassis model. The tube model is longer and has more letters.

It blows the *house* breaker? Then you've got a bigger issue. Make sure there's a fuse or breaker in the cabinet somewhere -- some dipstick tech probably bypassed it, or stuck nails or metal rods in it. This is a safety issue, make sure the cabinet is fused.

Now for solving your original problem. With the machine unplugged, pull the 3-pin power connector on the chassis board, check the white and black wires on the harness for continuity. If they're conducting to each other, you have a cabinet wiring issue. If not... check the corresponding two pins on the chassis for continuity. If you're getting a low ohms reading, you can trace the circuit and find the short, and test for a probable fix without powering the chassis up just by re-checking those two pins.
