I have a couple of different 9200 and 9400 monitors. Are those monitors compatible with each other? In other words, if I have a working 9400 board will it work with a 9200 monitor?

Thank you!!

apparently they're yoke compatible with each other but you'll run into slight geometry issues because D9200 tubes are curved and D9400 tubes are I believe all flat CRT. those digital tri-sync monitors are one art I never bothered trying to master, so I think I understand your struggle. lol

Yes they are compatible. You will likely have to mess with the actual H Width pot (in addition to the settings from the remote board), but they are compatible with each other. As mecha linked, I'm currently using a D9200 board with the (flat) from a D9400. D9200 had digital pincushion and trapezoid controls, I belive the D9400 does as well.

oh yes, in the OSD. they're basically like PC CRT monitors lol

Yeah they are, allegedly they support up to 800x600, great for PC-based emulation cabs (and for Dreamcast and Xbox 360)
