I have a 7200 series monitor in a midway touchmaster . I have not done much testing as there is no room in the cab ,But i will have it out at some point today. In any case , it showed no signs of life and after reading all the threads on here about it , i clipped D10 and it came right up. I am guessing that this means my B+ is too high. What component should i suspect and check next.I intend to cap the chassis , is it possable a bad cap could cause D10 to shut it down.
Thank guys, between my 7 month old and my brand new grand daughter i just can't think clearly anymore lol.The grand daughter is not too bad, she is a week old today.Sleeps mostly , but her mom drives me nuts lol.

If removing one side of D10 causes it to come up, then suspect a problem in the PS section of the chassis.

And you should determine if it is a 7201 or a 7203. They are a little different (although the PS section is pretty close to being the same).

There is a way to test just the PS section using a light bulb as load. That will tell you for sure whether the problem is in the PS or not.

Here is a thread I made about fixing a dead K7201. A lot of it will be relevant for the K7203 also...
