I can't tell if that's just really bad vertical foldover, or vertical collapse.

Post a photo where there is an actual picture on the screen.

Hmmm that is a new one for me.

has this chassis been capped with a new fly and reflowed yet.

i would do the things above and see what you get.

if they have i would reflow all the pins on IC3 that is your vertical IC and check all the traces and pads of the ic to see if you have any cracked or broken
.
also check VR9 that is the 50/60 htz pot, for cracks along with the rest of the pots on the chassis. look for broken legs and cold solder joints.

if all else fails you may have a bad vertical IC.

It's a snow board game that's why all the blue its the sky.The graphics are not distorted at all just cut off. I guess I could put another PCb in for a better pic. Buffet you fix chassis? What do you charge I have a few and I hate working on them it never goes well for me. I'm pretty new to this only been collecting for about 6 months but have 14 games allready.I have completely restored a couple of them from empty cabs but have yet to repair a monitor successfully.

PM sent.

yes i repair chassis.

Welcome to the Obsession!!!!!
it gets better as time goes on.

This may sound weird, but I had a similar issue with a k7500, after a cap kit and fly back still was missing a quarter of the screen. I replaced the control board and it worked like new. Just a thought.

bad or reversed c51?
otherwise, something else in the vert area.
vert ic perhaps.
