I finally got around to testing my tube swap I did with a broken WG 4900 tube. It came to life without the house burning down which I'm thrilled about but the picture, well isn't so hot.


I'm pretty sure I didn't get the rings back in the right space.
First question - Does this look more like a ring's problem or the yoke?
Second question - I know you don't want to mess with the yoke while it's on is it safe to move the rings while the monitor is on? I'm talking about the entire unite it's been hot glued together to hold them in the right spot for the transfer.
