I was having a board issue and for a bit a thought the monitor might be adjusted wrong. I fiddled with some adjustments and now after the board is fixed I'm having this problem:

It looks like everything is stretched horizontally (the long side of the monitor.) What am I doing wrong? Nothing seems to fix it.

Thanks, Toby

Well, it's hard to tell from the blurry pic at the bottom, but it looks like your convergence is way off. You may need to turn your blk level pot down slightly also...

In the grid pic, the vertical and horizontal lines should be the same width though, right? I'll try and get some better pics later.

Was the poblem with the game board or the monitior board? As I have learned strange things will happen to the monitior if you are still running the monitior with the original capicators. A cap kit will cure a lot of strange problems. Remember when these games were in service they were left on for probably 12 hours a day, this really wares out capicators fast.

Check the black level control setting and the focus setting.

If the monitor has not been recapped, then that should be done too.
