Well,

I have this robotron that looks fantasic but has this line that appears from time to time on the top of the screen. Can't get rid of it by making adjustments to hide it. In the vertical bar screen I see a large bend at the top. This is definitely the problem and is a foldover. Cap kit was already installed. I did every adjustment possible. However, I can't get it to straighten up. I don't have a vertical damper adjustment so not sure what else is going on here.

same issue but not a mismatch?

Did a cap kit on my 4901 in Robotron...original monitor. Now I get one odd line toward the top of the screen every once in a while. Seems to show up when the "w" logos are going around and at the start of a board.

I played w the adjustments and checked all ram. I can make the line worse messing w the vertical adjustments but can't make it go away. Also the scores and remaining lives seem a little small to me.

I checked that pdf and my chassis and yoke are compatible older models...not a mismatch.

One last thing...turning bright up I see several lines at the top like you would see when you need a cap kit. I double checked the polarity of the caps too...

Any ideas?

the line you are seeing is most likely the scratch ram which is normal on Williams games. if it bugs you, adjust the vertical height slightly until it's off the screen...

If you do not have the yoke / chassis mis-match, adjust your H hold.
