WG 4900 full red for a few seconds and then normal?

I have an odd problem, When I was playing Galaga, about the 13th stage, the monitor went bright red for a second and then slowly faded back into it's proper color settings; ie everything was normal. When I went to bed I was thinking bad red driver pot on the neckboard. I doubt it was a transistor because those are either working or bad, nothing that would correct itself.
Could it be a tube with a dirty red gun? I have many hours on this 4900 chassis and it has never done this to me. The tube is new to my arcade, a buddy of mine donated it a few months ago. Since I've had it, I have less than an hour of play time on it.

Find a friend with a rejuvinator? Ride it out and see what happens?

Sounds like my tube thoughts were in line with everyone elses :) Now to see if I can get a KLOV discount on a WG4900 tube rejuv.

If you pull it out and bring it to me, no charge. If I have to come to you, there's still no charge, but you'd have to wait longer...

Modessitt comes though again! I got to watch a master at work with my tube and the results are nothing short of amazing. The green gun gave us fits, but mod got it into the mid -normal side from an almost zero reading! It looks very bright and crisp now. I have one or two more tubes that would really benefit a shot with this (at least the 4900 in my Centipede). The monitor is now happily back in its new home: Galaga!

sweet!!! if you dont murder the tube with the rejuve, it really does do wonders doesent it?

I love klov. Most of us here have that pay it foward mentality and thats why i love this place!
