I'm looking for a donor tube to replace the one in my k4600. I found a couple on my local craigslist for cheap. Orion 19" model tv1934, and an RCA 19" F19221BC, and Symphonic 19" WF-13. Does anybody know if any of those tubes are compatible with a WG 4600? I looked on junknet.net and didn't find those exact tv models.

I looked on junknet.net and didn't find those exact tv models.

The problem with TV sets is that there are THOUSANDS of different models. No way to document all of them. You have to take the back cover off, and look for yourself. Sometimes you can see in through the vents and check the neck diameter.

I know this is an older thread, but Retro is right. I've gone through 5 tv now, and they have all had CR-31 necks i even managed to fin one with a CR-24. I can not find a CR-23 for my k4600. At this rate, its looking like i may convert to computer monitor with a CGA to VGA adapter. Not ideal, but im running out of ideas

the cr-31 tubes you are getting maybe a good replacement for k7000's. check the readings off the yoke. maybe direct drop in.

That sucks I found a old tv setting next to a dumpster near a job sight. Happened to be a direct drop in for a 4600. Check on the tube swap web site.

I have found 12 tv's so far and 6 were cr 23 sockets and 6 were cr 31 sockets and 4 of the cr 23's were drop ins for the 4600

Ive been to 5 different thrift stores. If i was lucky enough to find a 19", it had a cr-31. Ive decided to rebuild a k7000. bought the chassis and everything, and i have a few drop ins just waiting to go in. Ill keep the k4600 around for now, and keep an eye out for a tube. I have horrible luck with these kinda things
