HI, I would like to verify that the vertical output IC in a 25K7195 is actually the AN5521 that I found in it, as all the online info shows a LA78XX type. The chip has been changed before I got this into my shop for repair, although my customer swears that no one has worked on it before, and it was working fine, before the vertical deflection died while he was playing it.
It's odd that some have said online that all the K7000's are the same (similar?) and yet my vertical output section is using a different IC than the one shown in the 25K7191 schematic. I checked the yoke, and can see a good sync signal going into the monitor with an oscilloscope, but no vertical input at the chip. It has 26 VDC supply too.
I just learned about R80 and a few other issues to check, so it may end up irrelevant if I find thats the answer in the morning. Thanks for any replies.

i have seen at least 4-5 different IC3 IC's on a K7000.

so it's possible that it is the rite one.

i have also seen C49/47, R82/61/81, D13 cause vertical deflection failure.

Peace

Found a cracked vertical hold trimpot today, I'm replacing soon along with 2 on the neck board that are cracked as well. I've gotta drive 150 miles out and back tomorrow morning for a WG 33D9200 thats inop somewhere out in the toolies, so it may be a while before I can check. Thanks for that list, I'll check it out. :)
Peace
