About a week ago I did a cap kit on my monitor chassis and after re-installing it, the monitor started shorting along the bottom of the chassis. I checked the bottom of the board to make sure none of the solder joints were touching the metal support frame and none of them are. I've replaced the flyback and checked the board for shorts, but everything checks out. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other possible causes for this issue? The sparks appear to be coming from the same side as the flyback, but I can't be more specific than that since it is happening on the bottom of the board. This issue seems to have started after I did the cap kit, but the arcing is not occurring near any of the new caps. Thanks in advance. If anyone needs pictures I will try to provide them.

Sounds like the Ground wire going to the neck board is not connected. Usually it is screwed to the chassis next to the flyback and goes to the neck board ground.
You still have the A.C. hook up to a isolation transformer?
Give us a picture.

Yup make sure all connection on all the solder joints are good take the board in you hands and flex it a little looking at the bottom and see if you have any loose solder joints. Also make sure all the connections in the wires are good and strong. You should be able to see a little burn area where it's sparking from. Good luck and be carefull.

Yes, the ground wire to the neckboard from the tube.

I did something similar a while back and never realized it was all because of that. The problem is, if you run it too long that way while trying to figure out what is going on, you can blow up your VR, HOT, and even burn up a couple resistors in the PS...

You were right, it was the ground wire. I forgot about it, because it had been soldered to the board and I forgot to resolder it back. I appreciate everyones help. Thank you very much.
