I am currently working on a 60 in 1 conversion I have a 25" WG 25k7171 monitor that I can not get to work with my board, I can hook it up to my G07 monitor and the picture locks in great.*

Does anyone have any suggestions?

are you only using PIN 10 for synk on the input header.
that is where it nees to be for a 60-1.

I am currently at work, when I get home I will check the wiring configuration and take a picture of what I am working with.

Thanks,
Mike

So I checked the Connector and am using pin 10 on the header both brown wires go to the pin 13 on the solder side of he 60 in 1.

Another thing I am noticing is the rainbow effect on the monitor.... Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

it looks like you are using 9 and 10. move the connector over one more pin so it is only on pin 10.

then check the dip switch settings on the 60-1 and make sure it is not on the wrong video setting.
it looks to possibly be on the wrong setting.

then you should have a pic that needs to be adjusted with the 2 synk pots.

if still ng check those header pins for cracked solder... make sure your hold pots are not broken...

where your sync plug is(the brown wires) simply unplug it and move it twoards the tube by one pin. this will allow one sync wire on the last sync pin only. good to at least test with if ok you can always properly repin it later.

**edit i see youve already done this..

have you tried it plugged in to 9+10?

First I would like to thank everybody for your input... I disconnected the sync and striped the wire back and use an alligator clip to make sure I am connected to the correct pin (making sure I didn't miss something) still resulting to the same problem.

Pic included.

second I went and grabbed my G07 monitor for my centipede cocktail table to confirm the setting on the board are correct.

Pic included.

I will pull the Chaise out and re-flow the headers and confirm the sync pot is good.

Again thanks

After reading about WG 7000 monitors I decided to do some touch up on the soldering points of interest with the same conclusion.

So then I decided to investigate the remote board and notice a few of the controls were smashed a bit. I pulled each one out and checked there value's they seemed to all be within tolerance of there markings.

So then I cleaned them with isopropyl alcohol and put it all together again with no improvement,

At times I am able to get the rolling to stop but the resolution is very poor, If I did not know what I was looking at it would seem as if there were dots all over the screen. I will locate another chaise to see what I can do since the person I got this from has done some modifications that are not covered in my readings on the web.

So till then I will post my findings unless somebody can see something I am missing.....
