I cant figure this out, ive replaced all the caps, put in a new flyback, resoldered everything on the chassis and this chassis is really starting to annoy me....

first two things i see are.

1 adjust your 50/60htz pot to get rid of the fold over on the bottom.
2 1 turn down your screen pot on the fly.

is there a signal going to the monitor.
if so what game is it.

did you re-flow the input header pins.

recheck your work for bridged solder joints.

make sure your signal from the game is reaching the monitor.

other wise it looks like the monitor is fine you have a grey raster with retrace lines from the fly being up to much. and it is not getting an input signal from the board.
also turn all your pots on the chassis and neck board to their centers to see what you get and have a starting point to adjust from.

ive plugged in golden tee 2k and i hear sound but im getting no image. turned down the screen pot on flyback and still getting same image. all my other pots are at the 50% mark

Ok did you verify that your video cable is connected all the way from the jamma to the monitor???

otherwise if you can put the monitor next to another game and swap input cables to see if the monitor works with another game.

physically swap monitors from game to game to see what your results are.

no you should not blow a fuse unless there is something else very wrong with the chassis.
but you overdrive the fly by doing it.

it does not hurt to do it for a few seconds but is not recommended for a long period of time.

try turning up your contrast and brightness pots first.
you have good raster from your pic. so just turn it up till you see the raster lines again that should be enough wile turning up the other 2 pots.

well i tried another jamma board on it and it was on for about 2 minutes and it blew a fuse. put another fuse in it and it blew again. Im so sick of this chassis

Using an ISO? Check C38, the HOT, and the VR. Make sure you put insulators on properly if you replaced the HOT or VR previously...

you should set yourself up a circuit breaker to save fuses. 2amp for 25inch k-7000 i belive. used mine often.

Alright, i finally got around to checking this chassis out. Looks like my HOT got taken out and blew a leg off a diode at R83. anyone know the diode value at R83?
