WG 25" 7194 Wavy Line Problem

Exactly. I usually just solder on the back. But for testing what you can do it just wrap a copper wire around both pins before you put the plug on. If it works then you can solder in a jumper.

I've had a couple k7000s do the same thing.
The solution was jumpering the last two sync pins (-V and -H).

If the pins are already jumpered, then sometimes removing the jumper and connecting sync to -H only will solve it.

After the two pins are connected, if there is still an issue like this it can be adjusted out with the 50/60hz pot and the h-hold.

I tried jumping the -v and -h tonight and had the same result. No change. :(

Well, I can tell you that adjusting the 50/60 hz pot didn't help with the one I looked at, nor did the horizontal hold pot...

Same thing

Looks like I have the same thing, WG 25" K7000

Has anyone got a definitive solution for this, or is it just a dance of settings?

V adjustments

I can turn the V Pos, and V Size. Both work but have no relative effect on the problem.

The screen shrinks with the same portion at the top messed up.

I can move the screen up or down, but the graphics of the game are necessary in the affected area. This is a F1 Racing game, the MPH is in the upper left corner.

Your issue may be adjusted out by the 50/60hz pot. Give that a try.

mine is resolved - non problem

update:

I connected another Jamma to the monitor and it works fine, so I guess something is up with the jamma in the cabinet, maybe there is a setting or something, but

The monitor looks fine, the problem with the screen was with the PCB not the screen itself

I have a suspicion that the issue I have (similar to yours) is PCB and not monitor related. Hmmmmmmm

This is common with Neo Geo's, and seems to be really common when they are paired with K7000's. As far as I know, through searching when the problem showed up with my Neo, there is NO total fix for this issue. I can hook up any of my 25" K7000's to my Neo 1slot mobo, and it will do this. All you can do is play with the 50/60hz and H Pos to get it to where you can live with it.
