I have a Wells-Gardner 22V1003 B/W monitor that is having an issue. When I turn the game on the neck tube makes a crackling sound and has what looks like little lightning bolts in it. I have not done any testing on this yet but I am looking for suggestions as I am somewhat new to this. The monitor is in an Atari Football 4-Player machine with the AR1 board. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Hyperboy

Sounds like you have a hair line crack in the tube. Only solution is to replace the tube.
