My ADL has some screen jitters at certain parts in the game. The most noticable part was when it asked to enter your initials for the Hi-Score table. A minor annoyance but I decided to live with it. I have since started to beta test the ADL multi-game kit from Brasington (which is great) and this is affecting LL.

I swapped game PCBs and the problem persists and have also replaced Big Blue to no avail. I reflowed the solder on the header pins a while ago. I do not think it is the kit as I have seen another working multigame kit that works great and I had the jitters anyway on the original hardware. I am thinking that perhaps it could be something on the deflection board.

Has anyone come across something similar on their 19v2000?

Could be one of the chassis mounted deflection transistors about to crap out, mine did the same on my Omega race for some time and eventually failed. Upgrade them to 3716's and 3792's if you do change them.

I did a cap kit less than a year ago and replaced all the chassis-mounted transistors.

I finally have time to revisit this and am preparing a Bob Roberts order...

The filter caps are c100 and c101 (6800pf 50V), correct?

I have something similar on a G05 deflection, l and now on a 19v2000, but mine is on the bottom of the screen. I replaced literally all of the Y section of the deflection other than the resistors. Both 6800uf caps, all other electrolytics and the bottlecaps. Could not get rid of it. Threw in another G05 from another game and monitor works just fine. Eventually got frustrated, took an v2000 deflection I had kicking around and rebuilt that. Same issue only worse. Replaced most of the Y section on it as well as all electrolytics, tantalums, ceramic caps but no change. I'm at a loss so will be following this thread.

I just wanted to update this thread.

My issue is now resolved. I ended up simply removing the R100 and R101 resistors on the deflection board and replacing them with heavy gauge jumpers. The picture looks great and no more flickering.
