Was in storage with a dim pic but good otherwise, fired it up and get sparks that appear to be jumping from under the smaller of the two caps(C22 from what I can see, 240 uf 40 vdc) at top center of the pic to the wires at left that go to the monitor board. Pulled the power supply and touched up solder with no help. does not blow the fuse, no visible burn damage, just sparks a time or three and quits with no pic. I have a cap kit from a well known supplier that says it is for all 8000 series monitors, but the caps listed for the power supply and their location numbers make no sense at all. I didn't pull the suspect cap since I have no replacement and figure I may have to send it off for repair anyway. Any ideas appreciated
