Okay, here's one I have never seen before.
I'm working on repairing a Zaxxon game. It has a Wells Gardner 19K4961 that was working before the game boards died.
I just picked up replacement boards from Eldorado, and when connected and powered up, the image is split - the top of the image is on the bottom of the screen, and the bottom is on the top. The middle is missing.
I checked the Zaxxon dip switches, and they are set correctly. The monitor worked before the game boards failed.
I have attached the image. Before I run down the "re-flow all the connections" path and the "re-cap" path, is there anything else I should be doing?
I have already tried adjusting the VSIZE and VPOS without success.
One more thing - when the game powers on, the screen rolls from side to side. Trying to adjust the VHOLD doesn't seem to help. After it warms up, it seems to stabilize, but with the screen split.
