I have just acquired a Jungle King and there is a problem with the monitor, it is a WG 19k4903 with an RCA tube.. It is scrolling and no adjustments will fix it.. As I adjust the picture changes but it will not stop scrolling.. is this a sync issue? the game works. I can hear it playing... What can I try aside from rebuilding the chassis? or is that what will need to be done?

if you click on the picture it will take you to a short video..

did you try the horizonal control? its not in the row of pots, it is one of the two pots pointing upwards. one is sync and one is brightness.

is jungle king positive or negative synk.
you may have it hooked up wrong.

positive synk is pin 5-6
negative synk is pin 9-10

you may have to use pin 5-6 or 9-10 together pending what type of synk the game outputs.

Peace

I tried turning every knob in there.. each knob had an effect. But nothing stopped the scrolling

Dokert.. I only have this one Taito game.. have nothing else to test it in..

looks like over the years a few butchers may have been in there.. looks like part of the harness was replaced.. supposedly it is the original monitor..

on another note I noticed when I shut the toggle switch, the game does not completely shut down. it only shuts off the monitor.. I know that is for a different thread..

I tried switching the sync and its all the same. I got the picture to where I can partially seethe game play now. But still scrolling... need some more ideas on what I can try

Just followed the Sync wires to the game board.. they are twisted together at the connector but at the monitor chassis they are seperate... is this correct? or should they be together at the chassis as well and if so on which pin?

A previous owner had cut the harness and added connectors for some reason. But they used female molex type connectors on both sides and stuck pins in them to mate them.. Once I noticed this I made a better connection and the monitor sync issue was resolved...

Thank You everyone for your help.. I appreciate all your time...
