Was working good, then yours truly was adjusting the picture via the standard pots on the main board and I felt a very light (VERY light) shock from the board and the tube went dark. I've checked the voltage going to the monitor and all fuses on the board and the cabinet itself and they check out OK. The boards on the monitor look OK, as nothing appears blown out or burnt.

Anything I should check specifically? Or is this a recap and try again moment?

the way I would handle it is:

test another monitor in that cab, then test that monitor in another cab, and determine what truly isn't working.

then you have enough information to start to do something.

Do you have neck glow? Maybe the adjustment pot is bad or has cold solder.

No neck glow. And no appearance of power in any fashion, though I know the power coming from the cabinet is good.

tron guy: I'll have to see if I have a monitor I can use to test. Not a bad idea.

Sometimes you just need to shut it off for a bit then it'll come back on.

But - sounds like it needs rebuilding and reflowing...

Nope she's down for the count, so to speak. By rebuilding I assume you mean recapping and ya lost me on reflowing.

I ordered a cap kit for it this morning.
