I am installing a monitor that has 2 pins for power input. I assume one is AC-hot and the other AC-neutral. On the wiring from the game's Power Supply, I have identified which is AC hot and AC Neutral. I'm not sure which is hot and which is neutral on the monitor pins, does it matter which pins I connect to?

It does not matter - but remember, you CANNOT plug that monitor directly into the wall! You MUST use an isolation transformer. The output of the isolation transformer, being isolated from the mains, has no hot or neutral designation, thus no polarity.

That being said, the WG4500 is basically a modified TV chassis, and therefore the receptacle on the back I believe is just your standard "cheater" cord - the larger pin would have been neutral. But that's a moot point, since you must connect it to an isolation transformer.

My game cabinet already has the transformer installed.

Do I need to connect the snipped ground wire to the chassis then??

thanks,

It's a good idea - helps reduce interference. The ground wire just gets attached to some convenient point of the metal monitor frame.
