Rebuilt a WG 15V2000 today and all was successful except I broke one of the leads off a new HV diode I was going to install. (don't ask... it was a bone headed move...
) So I cleaned and reinstalled the old one.
The picture is beautiful for about 8-10 minutes and then the screen blooms up nice and large.
I just ordered another HV diode but I got curious if there is anything else that can cause this? I've had two or three other monitors over the years that bloomed and replacing the diodes worked great on those.
More curious than anything else.
TIA.
