I have a ms pacman cocktail table just like this one in this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Ms-Pacm...aultDomain_0&hash=item43a5fa836d#ht_500wt_922

the control panel and table top graphics are original to the came back in 81. what got me is no where does it say it was made by midway and it has a different coin door different power supply and a two piece ms pacman board. it is orginalt from 1981 and I seem more just like it. does anyone know any history on this cocktail?

If your Ms Pac looks like that one in the auction, you do not have a dedicated Ms Pac cocktail. That cocktail that is in that auction is from a Stern game that has been converted to a Ms Pac.

Oh so you have a cabaret CPO slapped on your control panel too? ;) From the looks of it, the one in the auction link likely started out as some other game, as the CPO shown is a cabaret CPO, you can see it is too small for the control panel. Also, the top glass looks non-original to me. It looks like a clear piece of glass with a repro underlay beneath it (as opposed to original silk screen on the glass itself).

I guess mine was converted with parts to look like this one so I assumed it was the same.

The one in the auction is NOT an original dedicated Ms Pac cocktail. That is a Pacman cocktail conversion. (EDIT NO ITS NOT A PAC CONVERSION EITHER, BRMOOR is right....)You can tell by the wooden corners. Ms Pac has black T molding on the corners. Plus that coin door is not original. A dedicated Pacman cocktail only has a single coin slot. Ms Pac has a dual coin slot door. Not sure, but that wood laminate looks to be something someone put on at a later time too? It looks far too light to be original. Also the control panels are different sizes.
The Ms Pac PCB has a small daughter board. A Pac board hacked to play Ms Pac MAY NOT have the daughter board.
Here are nice pics of a dedicated Ms Pac CT and a Pac CT note the differences.....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Ms Pac came originally with an underlay, and was NOT silk screened. Pac was originally silk screened.

Yeah, that's a converted Stern cocktail, probably Scramble. Here's one (Scramble) I did a few months back. Originally it had been converted rather badly into Ajax, then stripped before I got ahold of it. I made it better and put a 60-in-1 in it...

Also too a dedicated Pac CT has a 2" riser underneath the actual cabinet for the leg levelers/ vent for the fan.
