My family and I visited the hall of fame at its new location in Vegas. Although not a flashy place as you would expect in vegas, but who cares right. It was a blast inside with all the old and new games. played Iron Man for the first time. no white water pin, no lord of the rings, and a few others were not there, oh well i spent 4 1/2 hours with my family playing pins and old games. If you never been you should go, highly recommend this place.

I am going to try to drive down to vegas next month to pick up a couple games. I am hoping to be able to stop at the hall of fame for a bit. I haven't been there since they moved. And I really want to try Iron Man. I never saw it unplayed at CAX.

Its def a low budget operation place, so it would not be Vegas flashy. It did not even have a security system, evident from a recent break-in and copper taken...

I've not been put if I ever go out that way I certainly will be.

Another place that is flashy is Castles and Coasters in Phoenix. Its huge and an amusement park, centered around the arcade! So that should give you an idea how big it is. Look it up on the net. I want to go myself one day.

Dang, I'll just miss you by one week, Lindsey. It would have been fun to challenge a KLOV member to some games.

Ah well...

While you guys are there, you should make me a list of must-play machines! All the cream-of-the-crops, and creme-de-craps. Doesn't matter if they're in great shape or not!

This would be great! I am going in september, and I'm sure I'll end up missing some cool ones somehow. If there are any particularly interesting games there (besides, you know, pretty much all of them), I'd like to play them.

Castles n' Coasters is a pretty sweet place. ThirtyFathomDave and I get our asses handed to us regularly at their monthly pinball tournaments. I think I counted 28 pins last weekend, and they just got an Iron Man and Dark Knight....... I mean "Batman".

I'll be in Vegas from Aug. 17-25. Can't wait to spend some quality time at the PHOF. According to their website, they don't have a TOTAN. What a shame. I haven't played one in years, and I was really looking forward to it.

I'm around Vegas this Sat/Sun. I've been to the Pinball HOF before, but might make it again.

Now what brings you to Vegas this weekend ? Games by any chance, or just Vegas?

I'll be there for a bit on Friday and Saturday. It should be fun.

Where is this from Luxor? I practically live there with Chris Angel. Let me know and I'll take some movies to post, probably youtube if there's not already some there.

If I remember right it's about a mile east of the MGM on Tropicana.

Keep in mind most all machines are set on 5 ball play. I would walk away after losing the 3rd ball out of habit of playing 3 ball play. 5 ball was to long to me anyway. But what a great time. They also had old Chicago Coin shooting galleries all in great operating condition.
