Recently aquired a Wells Slot Machine, looks like a 1930's-1940's. I'm no expert in this genre. Anyone know about the Wells company?

p.s It takes nickels.

Mead Publishing prints all kinds of service manuals, repair guides, identification guides, price guides for all brands and models of mechanical and electro-mechanical slot machines:

Here's some free Mills stuff (caution, many files are large 30 to 50 mb in size):

Mills slots are the most documented slots out there and there are plenty of reproduction parts available for them, including complete wood cabinets.

I've worked on quite a few Mills slots.

Hey Ken. Where's the best place to get springs? I only need one. There's a BONUS Hi-Top on my desk at work that had a stretched spring on the lever that causes the BONUS payout once all the letters are gotten. I have everything working perfectly, except for that BONUS payout. If I keep the spring loose enough, the BONUS part works, but won't pay out. If I tighten it enough to apply the pressure needed to move the payout slide levers, then it doesn't move out of the way enough for the BONUS letters to pop up. I figure I can get the right spring, but don't know if I'll need to buy an entire spring kit just for that one spring. Plus, I don't know who sells them. I've sent a few emails based on some internet searching, but didn't get any responses...
