Hey guys, I'm working on my cousin's DD. He bought a chassis a year ago that had a cap kit installed, along with a new flyback. I popped it in and it worked like a charm. The only problem was the screen was upside down. I was unaware there were dip switch banks on the board, because they're black and blend in with the ic's. So, I emailed the guy about the screen. He said to reverse the green and yellow inputs on P4. When I did that and powered it up, the main fuse in the holder at the bottom of the cab blew. I put it back the right way and then powered it on, only to have the monitor fuse right next to it blow. I even unplugged the degaussing coil and the deflection yoke and it still pops the monitor fuse. It's does play blind though, so the main isn't blowing anymore. I'm awful at monitor trouble shooting, but I have enough knowledge to cap, fly, and navigate around a chassis. Does anyone have any idea where I should start? I don't have a multimeter and don't mind shotgun repair. Any input would really help. THANKS!!!
