I have a good working 27" wells k7500 at work that has no home and a 25" wells k7500 that I need but has a bad chassis. So my question is will the k7500 chassis from the 27" work on the 25" monitor? Thanks

Yes, but you may find the picture a little too big. As long as the yokes measure the same, it shouldn't be a problem...

k will try tm. I have a ton of games to repair that are all med. rez and are 25" and all with bad chassis. Got plenty of good 27" monitors though errrhhhh.

hey mod, couldn't you also just switch the neckboards? is the picture size determined by the electronics on the neckboard or is it in the deflection?

cause otherwise, the neckboards are VERY easy to swap out on these.

Most likely controlled by various things on the deflection board. Usually neckboards are just color or conduits for the heater and syncs...

The only difference between a 25 and 27 K7500 is the pincushion board has been added to the 27 chassis to help fine tune the image near the edges. Remove that and it is a 25" chassis.

PS- I will buy any K7500 chassis' that you don't need. Working or not. Eventually I will fix one of them and get my GT up and running again.
