I have a wg k7201 that will only fire up if I pull one leg of D10. I have subbed the voltage regulator, and C20, C21, C42, C45, IC2, D12 per the troubleshooting guide. I have also checked a bunch of various resistors and diodes for open/short conditions and did not find anything. Where do I go from here? Where should I be measuring the B+? Thanks.

You should be able to measure the B+ at C57. It should be 126 volts. If you have a scope I would check for any ripple. A bad C57 will cause XRP shutdown.

If that's good look at the safety cap C36. If that's good I would focus on the shutdown circuit itself.

I just got done recapping it and now it turns on but there is a sync issue...I can not adjust it out with the h-hold. I am sure the video signal (my TPG) is working correctly and the wires are hooked up correctly. I reflowed the input header.
