i would start by verifying the synk is making it to the monitor and then centering all the controls. on the chassis and neck board.

also if its jamma put a known working board in the cab.

also verify that you have +5 to the chips on the PCB

and go from there.

it was put in a know working cab with pcb that works. i want to rule out the chassis that came with it so i cleaned it today and will try it in another cab in a few days. and for setting i played with everything and even thou it will slightly effect the wave pattern nothing comes close to fixing the picture in that mess.

this was the chassis that came out of it. i cleaned it up. my other wells garder has th esame number but only has one wire gong to the cup. this one has 2. any differences?

that is the zenith version the K7000a.

they are the almost the same. but if the fly is bad you can't get a replacement.

but the good news is it can be repaired if the fly is good.

it will also run on any standard k7000 tube.

looks like the focus is wayyy off. And then its not holding for some reason.. pinned out wiring in the video ground or sync pins. cold solder on the sync pins, or just needs the holds adjusted.

looking at my imput header

this was wired for Marvel vs Capcom using a pentranic. i put in a 18 in 1 which worked.
back to now.
looking at the pinout there isn;t a connector for pinout 8,9,and 10. now i looked around the cab to no avail BUT i did find 3 wires that were loose but they were coming off a different harness instead of the jamma.

wiring

Your picture is telling me the sync is wired up to the red and green pins on your chassis.
This looks like it was wired for another monitor were everything is backwards.
Turn your plug around and bend the plastic backstop back so the plug will fit a little better. try this and see if picture is better. You still might have to move the sync pins to pins 9 and 10 to get picture to lock in.

thanks no prob just like to help.

cap it if you haven't that will have an impact on the colors as well.

now that you have all the colors and synked hooked up correct.

take and center all the pots on the neck board that will give you a good starting place.
