Well I'm having yet another issue, imagine that. So I did a cap kit in this monitor and I have to say that the picture looks much better and it doesn't fade out like it was before. But I still have these dark vertical bars running across the whole screen. Here's a couple of pics:

I jerked a little bit on the last picture but you can clearly see the vertical bars running through the screen at the top of the image. I tried to follow the flowchart but, I'm not really sure what this symptom is called. Once again, any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!!!

That looks more like a board problem. Notice how on your first picture, the lines don't affect the After Burner logo - they're only in the background.

That does look like a board issue. Could be a lot of things. I'd do the basics first (check voltages, clean connectors, etc).

Success!!! I'll post some pictures tomorrow when my internet is back up (bad storm, using my phone). The ground wire from the game board chassis was broken, the line filter wasn't grounded either & the motor for the joystick wasn't grounded either. The first one was my monitor issue. I must have been getting noise in the line because now that everything is grounded properly the picture looks great! I have a little sceen burn but hey, can't say too much right?! The new/used complete flight stick might show up tomorrow so if it does the game will be fully functional and then I can focus on the cosmetics. I can't even describe how happy I am right now! :D

I will fill in the rest tomorrow via PC including pics & video!

Goodnight!
