Hey guys,

I recently got a centipede cabinet with a K7203 monitor in it. I've been reading a good bit about this monitor and it sounds like the capacitor at C600 is sometimes blown. On the off chance that this capacitor is blown on my board does anyone happen to know where I could get a replacement? The specs for the capacitor are:

560pF 1600V (Polypropylene Capacitor)

I looked on digikey and a few other sites and the capacitor is still made but not stocked. Minimum order quantity is 1000 units which puts the total price around 440 dollars. Looking to just be able to purchase one capacitor if possible.

Thanks in advance!

If this cap was bad the flyback would not work correctly (HV would be too high and xray protection would turn it off). Make sure it's actually bad/open before replacing it.

Lead spacing is 10mm. Check if it fits on the chassis.

My current issue is when I plugged in the monitor and turned the machine on I heard the high voltage and then 3-4 seconds later heard a loud pop and I turned the machine off. I'm assuming the flyback / HOT may be bad but I will be doing some testing when I get a chance to take the monitor board out. Just wanted to make sure I could find a proper replacement for C600 just in case. Have a cap kit and flyback on the way. If the flyback isn't bad then i'll just keep the one I ordered on standby.
