I have a WWF Royal Rumble with a WG K7000 chasis baoard. It had unstable video and poor color. I got a cap kit and FB xFormer from Bob Roberts and installed them. Now, I have no power to the tube. I checked the HOT, bridge rectifier, and the four diodes. All are OK. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look at next?

There are several common spots known for bad solder joints, namely around large resistor and transistors on both the main chassis and the neck board. Check around the headers pins where things plug in also.
Go back over the boards very carefully.

this, and there's a resistor running along the side of the neckboard (if viewing it from behind, right side up, it's on the side to the right of the neck socket) which controls the heater. make sure there's no cold solder or breakage there.

it's what I had to do on my K7000, however, I had power going to mine and it would just shut off. not sure if this will be any help to you unless it's obviously broken off.

good luck, cadillacman knows a lot about these now, they're a pretty common fixture for monitors that aren't like 30 years old :p

Did you reconnect everything? It's easy to overlook something. If you can post a pic of the chassis and neckboard that would help. This should also be in the monitor section.

Thanks for all the responses. I will look at your suggestions tonight. Hopefully, I can resolve the problem. Also, I believe I have reconnected everything. I will post a picture if the resistor troubleshooting does not work out.

I checked R103 and it was open. I removed it from the board and it was still open. I think I found my problem. Thanks.
