I picked up a time pilot today.. tha game plays blind but the
monitor is messed up.

It either is in horizontal collapse or rolls horizontal really fast.
It kinda goes back and forth between the two every once in a
while.

Any suggestions on where to start? Its a Wells Gardner 19k4655

Thanks,

1) Vertical collapse - you most likely need to reflow the header pins for the daughtercards, but check to make sure that the yellow and green wires to the yoke are on firmly.

2) Roll - that is a vertical hold issue. Adjust the black knob on the X/Y daughtercard.

And you should probably cap it for optimized functionality....

you have vertical collapse, not horizontal collapse. monitor orientation is key

Doh! Yeah, I don't know why I said horizontal, although with it coming and going like that, the advice is solid. it just needs to be tweaked on the details...

I agree. I have a 4600 with horizontal collapse that I just haven't had time to look at. I know damn well it is either the chassis X/Y header or the X/Y daughter card header causing the problem.
