I have a Wells Gardner 19" K7689 monitor in a Roadblasters game. It kept turning off so I did a cap kit and had to replace the shutdown pot because the glue killed it. The game works fine now, but I need to know about the new shutdown pot that I installed. I don't know where the old one was positioned. Where should I position the new one? What will happen if it is incorrectly set? Right now I got it set at about 11 o'clock. The knob's turn radius is from about 8 o'clock to 4 o'clock.
Thanks, John

If it is the same value size, look at the glued one and set it for the same spot....

I kind of destroyed the old one trying to turn it so I don't know where it was. Is it safer to set it for less or more. What is the danger of not knowing? I heard something about radiation.

If it works now, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Besides, you don't need to reproduce... :D
