Hello all! I'm helping a friend fix up a 4713.
The issue is the horizontal position of the image. It's about 1/4th off of the monitor.
He has replaced the horizontal size coil with one from Bob Roberts some time ago.
We just recapped it. There were 4 caps that were not replaced, didn't have the velues. Will come back for them.
In the manual it references an adjustment jumper. I can't seem to find it on his, we played with the jumpers that are present and none seem to have an effect (on anything.)
This monitor does not have a horiz position pot.
I saw that the horizontal size is related to the brown tantalum caps (or whatever they are.) But the size really is fine, it's just that the image is moved down 1/4th.
Everything on the neck seems tightly in place. I don't want to start dorking with that stuff if there is no reason to.
Any pointers?
Also, it has been tried on different game boards. His cocktail has a Rygar, and we just brought it up on the table on an Arkanoid.
