Hi Everyone,
I recently acquired a BBH World with a Wells D9400 in it that is dead. No neck tube burn, I have power to board and a good fuse. From researching on this site, these things are a real bummer to work on. Is there anybody that works on these? Would a cap kit help or should I try to find a replacement? I guess I'm just trying to figure out my options.

Thanks in advance for any help :)

cap kits can help but there can be more to it than that on these digital WG chassis. chad at arcadecup.com i am pretty sure works on these.

I got your Pm.

Need to get the monitor out of game..

You will need a cap kit.

But need to check some test points first.

Or send chassis out!

Your choice..

Or replace with led TV.

But it won't look good with that bezel.

I would TS the chassis..

Good luck!

D9400's are prone to cold solder. Try pushing on large parts with the plastic handle of a screw driver. If the monitor fires up you have cold solder some where.
