I got a 27" wells that just clicks with no neck glow or power up. I really want to fix this on my one and gain some experience for down the road so any help would be appreciated. I thinking maybe a bad cap, HOT, or flyback. I figured I would do a cap kit to start just because I have the chassis out. What should the readings be for testing the HOT? Or is all this in vain?

Never played with a 9200, but clicking is normally from a switching regulator starting up then shutting down from over-current... so it's probably a blown HOT/fly...

Pull the HOT and see if the clicking goes away...

These are not the easiest monitors to cut your teeth on but here are a few things to try. Try replacing the electrolytic capacitors in your power supply section. C810 is a common culprit. You can isolate your power supply by lifting one leg of R854 (I believe its the leg pointing towards the FBT of the monitor but I could be wrong) and put a 60W light bulb in series to ground. If the light bulb lights up check your supply voltage. Your power supply should read 170VDC.

Well, the D9200 will definitely click if there is a problem with the HOT and removing it means a problem with the HOT. Measure the HOT with a meter to see if it's shorted. If so, replace it.

I've fixed one clicking D9200 by replacing the HOT.

I've fixed another clicking D9200 by replacing all the caps in the PS section.

Keep in mind that there are two high voltage drivers.. Your HOT for the yoke (q418), and the HV driver for the flyback(q424).. the HOT is not tied into the flyback.. These are Separate..
most monitors do share the hot to pulse the flyback along with the yoke. not the case in some newer boards like the d9200.

clicker:

bad c828.. double check c810

q425, q418 d417

replace ic404 & d424 along with q414
