Anyone know the rating for a thermistor on a 25k7191 position R105?? All Wells manuals I see just say thermistor, no ratings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Trying to fix a problem with my degaussing coil. It makes the picture wavey when the coil is connected to the chasis.

I just posted this in the other thread......this is the specs on the K7000A Zenith built chassis. I do not know how close the two chassis are. I'd say they're close, but close enough...I don't know (hell, they could be identical).

7 ohms
20%
140 volt max

Did you ever find the right part?
I just posted that mine is burnt off the board and I need one also.
I did find one actually however I am still having the problem. Anyone have any suggestions to what else to check for? Whenever the degausing coil is connected the picture gets a little wavy.

have you capped it yet including the filter cap.
that is a sign of failing caps.

the degauss circuit is not very big you should be able to measure all the parts in it with ease.

Yep, the degaussing circuit is very small.......besides the thermistor, you've got R104, D23, and D24. That's it for the WG7000 series. I guess it's possible the actual coil that wraps around the tube could have a small worn area in it's insulation and (barely) making contact with the metal framing.

Will have to test these tonight. Will let ya know what I find

Took me a while to do this but thought I would update all with the solution in case someone has a similiar issue. As suggested I replaced all the components at R104, D23, and D24 as well as the Thermistor earlier which ended up not being the issue. Not sure which component failed at the suggested locations but once I replaced all of them the problem was fixed. No more wavey screen when the deguassing coil is plugged in. I now have a 100% working chassis. Thanks to all who helped.
