We ID'd the cab a few weeks back...and the owner wanted to restore it...
So..today it began..

just found a monitor for it today...
his plan...
it will remain Mame'd via hacked Xbox...but we're putting everything Kangaroo back into it so the cab can be switched back to Kangaroo via a switch inside the coin door (basically kill the Xbox and power the Kangaroo board).
Once I told him how horrible of an idea converting it back was, he wanted to do it more.
 
It'd be easier to find an un-converted Kangaroo and just do the conversion to the internals. Probably would save you a lot of time and heartache.
 
I really don't enjoy Kangaroo, but the artwork is a lot better than a generic MAME sticker. I can see putting that over art in bad shape, but that cab looks alright. Good luck!

You can also do the above via wireless remote control. Pretty cool....
