I would say easy fix, but newer boards are a pain to work on. The pin holes are...a little small. I didn't see the fault in the second picture...bad surface mount resistor? Get your tweezers out...

He was showing the Made In China that was stamped on the board.

Get it, it's funny because it's Made in China and therefore must be of subpar quality!

Of course, the computer he used to post this thread and the camera he used to take and upload the pictures were likely also Made in China. Or possibly Taiwan.

Yeah, pfft. Chinese shit is TOP QUALITY. It can't be the caps that are obviously bad. Look around for any American, Japanese, or European parts that may have failed.

I've already fixed the board.

I didnt want to hijack the other guys thread with my nasty "racist" thoughts so I started a new thread. I just wanted to point out the fact that we have junk in our coin operated games these days. Plus, I thought that it was kinda funny on the heels of that other thread.

The camera was made in China and I'm sure that this PC is as well.

We can see that the boards were made in China, but the caps were probably made by american union workers

In Fifty years everyone in the U.S. will be dead from all the lead based toys they keep shipping over here. Most of the stuff they make is shit. Give me a tool made in the U.S. or in Germany anyday over the tools they make in China.

to all of you who blame chinese products:
go buy japanese/korean/european parts, they exist in arcade industry, they have everything from joysticks to monitors
I doubt though anyone of you will have the guts to go and buy them,so stick with nice and cheap chinese stuff and be happy, china is the present and the future, quit your business if you dont like it

I find it interesting that a thread about an anti-Cheney / Bush / etc. video game immediately gets relegated away from the General Discussion board under the premise of "These things just start political flame wars"....yet this thread remains.

(Just playing a little Satan's Hollow Advocate) ;)

Hell, I look through the knife bins at the local thrift store. You'd be surprised at how many expensive knives you can find for a buck each - German & English steel... and Japanese steel.

I have yet to find a Hanzo blade though.

I didn't make the choice to buy these parts. Raw Thrills did.

What game was that?

This thread has something to do with Coin-Op games and the cheap stuff that gets put into them.

If the mods want to remove it I'm sure they will.
