Last night, I made the trade for that Freddy pinball I had been going on about, and I am quite happy about it. I find the machine to be pretty awesome, and I've really been enjoying it like crazy. (I played that thing for something like 3 hours straight...repeatedly saying "Just one more game and I'll turn it off.")

I feel as if that pin-crazy lad of the late 70's has been reawakened, and I can see myself giving up another vid or two to make room for another pin.

:)

I really like the variety of your games you have, really something for everyone ranging from the 80's classics to some of the classics of the 90's. As you mentioned before it would be nice if your new pin had a friend :)

Thanks, guys!

And ya know, the fine chap who provided the Freddy also has a nice Mary Shelley's Frankenstein that I've been wanting. Once again, I'm talking to him about a trade.

So, if I come to the decision that I really want to do it, I can trade my Star Wars + cash to him for the Frankenpin. Granted, Star Wars isn't my "grail" (that title belongs to my Tron), but it IS a game that would be hard to part with. However, I've owned it a pretty good while now and I don't really spend a lot of time with it anymore...

That Frankenpin is awesome enough, though, that I'm likely to go ahead and pull the trigger.

I recently added a Frankenstein to my collection and i really dont have ANY complaints. I love it.

You need a Bram Stoker's Dracula! A solid Williams game that's usually cheap! I think it stays cheap because of the theme, but since you like the horror stuff - bonus! Truly one of the great shooters games, with a truly satisfying triple stackable multiball (THIIIRTTTTYY MEEELLIIION!!!!!!!!) - and, one of the best features ever - the floating Mist Ball!!! Great sound and light choreography too.

A guy in my town has a BSD and I want it bad. He's not really a collector but doesn't want to sell it yet. I might have to offer him a trade for my Dr Who :) See if that will entice him. BSD seems to be far superior to Dr Who from what I've read.

I could not part with my Star Wars. Vector games just do not lend themselves to emulators. I would just buy the pin outright but that is me and Star Wars (and Tempest) are vector-grails to me.

After seeing the promo video of it the other day, I do indeed want one. Nice looking machine, and that mist ball feature is just all kinds of awesome. :)

Well, it's true I had it on my "must-have" list when I bought it, and it's in really good condition, but I'm pretty sure I can live without it.

I don't recall being obsessed with it back in the day; I can't even recall making a special trip anywhere to play it. And since the day I bought it, I can only really handle playing it in tiny spurts...and then, not so often. (The first run through the stages is awesome...the second run...meh, not so much.)

Like Dragon's Lair, I think I always enjoyed the idea of owning the machine more than actual game itself. I appreciate the cabinet, the graphics, and awesome audio samples, but I've never felt compelled to play it much.

I paid $800 for it about 5 years ago, and that's how much I'm getting on it trade, so it's all good. ;)

Yeah, and bringing the Frankenstein into the arcade is only gonna make it worse. (My wife is a chicken-dookie on anything horror-related, too. It's yet to be seen if she'll even want to play a game of pinball -- which she does happen to like.)

I think you mean happy?

No, I mean happen. Game is like mighty wave upon ocean. For honorable lucky fun, I am the enjoyment of it. Can you do any less?
