Welcome (and Guidelines) - External Auctions and Events

This forum is for discussion of External Auctions (Live and eBay), Events, and the Auction Ace™ (eSpy™) utility for finding, sorting, and tracking on-line auctions, and for PowerBuyers™ software and services. Attend one of our online conferences, lectures, or workshops. Get tips, FAQs, and tip sheet concerning auctions, shopping, finance, hobbies, collectibles, business, and general internet use. Offerings for beginners and experts alike! Tech Support and Polls/Surveys also available.

Please DO post scarce items you find on eBay (ie: prototypes), ultra-bargains, and funny auctions. Please do NOT use these section to promote what you are selling or ask someone to post for you. If the item belongs to you, use the For Sale section, not this one, even if you are selling the item on eBay or Craigslist.

Please DO post notifications to upcoming real world auctions too.

Please check out our events calendar page at: http://www.arcade-museum.com/events.php

---
For this section, please start a title for your Craigslist reference with 'CL' and the location, ie: "CL Los Angeles: Galaga $25"

For eBay references, please begin your thread title with 'eBay: '

---
For those of you that are unfamiliar with Auction Ace... it is a special service provided on Ace.com

We have a special page there at:
http://www.ace.com/iam/

It automatically searches all 9 eBay Arcade and Pinball categories and grabs the top items in each. "Top" is very subjective, especially to a computer program, but in this case it is searching for the most popular items on eBay (the items that the most people have added to their eBay watch list), without a lot of junk items you would normally see and the system filters out automatically.

So what did the report do for me the night I first wrote this post?

Things I found interesting on the report tonight:

1974 'The Safe' - Safe Cracking (non-video) game
A dedicated Major Havoc (already $3600 and 3+ days to go)
A 300-in-1 Jamma Board
Atari PAT 9000 Test Fixture
Taito Bench Tester Unit w/cables
Penguin Pinball Dolly (a model I hadn't seen before)

Auction Ace is prompting for a password and I can't find anything on here for what it should be.

Did you happen to look at how old this thread is?

Good grief.

F-n new people. 🤦🏻‍♂️
If I had responded to a random ancient post, I could see the frustration. It's a pinned post, though - which my experience in forums means it is current and maintained information. Based on that, I wanted to see if the pw was posted somewhere else I had missed perhaps, and might be helping the next person.

At least give him credit for reading the stickies! That's more than most noobs do.

@disjointedimages, don't take it personally. :) Folks can be rough here at times, but we mean it with love.

Welcome to the forum.
